Ahead of the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) final, football legend, Kolo Toure, has advised Ivory Coast players on  best way to tame dangerous Victor Osimhen in tomorrow’s encounter with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Speaking on BBC World Football programme monitored by Abujapress reporter on Saturday, Toure said Ivory Coast players need to be very fast at the back to ensure Osimhen is denied any space.

He said : “Osimhen is a super powerful player, he has unbelievable speed, he got only one goal so far but what he brought to the team is incredible.

” The system that they play is very dangerous, because what Nigeria do is that they go for 5-4-1 and as soon as they have the ball, the two number 10 go on the middle and they try to feed them to go for counter attack and that is where Osimhen is meant to run on the space and I think is very important for Ivory Coast to have speed at the back, because they dominate the ball because that was what happened in the first game against Nigeria.

“Ivory Coast need to have speed at the back because as soon as they have the ball, they will try look for Osimhen with the space and he is super quick.”

Toure also called on the Ivorian national team players to immediately start practicing how best to take penalty.

” They should start training on penalty from today and analyse the (Nigerian) goalkeeper, ” he added.
