Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has declared theinterest of his administration to deploy technology for effective fight againstall forms of crime, criminality in the state.


The Governor made this known while speaking at the end ofthe year party, organized by the Nigerian Police Force, Bauchi State Command.


According to Mukhtar Gidado, Special Adviser on Media andPublicity, the Governor argued that use of technology would assist the stategovernment to deal decisively with criminals.


Mohammed appreciated the police and other security agenciesin the state for their tireless efforts towards tackling security challengesacross the state.


He pledged to continue to provide them with a conduciveenvironment to discharge their responsibilities diligently. He acknowledged the harmonious relationship between hisadministration and security agencies in the state and emphasized the need forsynergy among all the stakeholders in order to achieve the desired objectives.


The Governor reassured that his administration will notrelent in ensuring maintenance of law and order in the state for investmentopportunities which will contribute to economic development.


Mohammedexpressed gratitude to police for presenting himwith an award of excellence in recognition of his administration’s unwaveringcommitment towards the promotion of peace and security.


He assured the award will ginger him to do more for securityservices to operate effectively. On his part, the Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, AuwalMusa Mohammed explained that the award presented to the Governor was inappreciation of his administration’s huge investment in the maintenance ofpeace and security across the state.


Similarly, the state first lady, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammedhad received an award of excellence as the champion against Gender BasedViolence.
