Dr. Busola Tejumola is the Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice Nigeria Limited.
She oversees the end-to-end delivery of engaging and diverse content for over 20 million subscribers across the continent.

Dr. Tejumola was born into a family of an educationist grandmother and her parents, education enthusiasts. She is happily married to her husband.
Tejumola earned her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Ibadan, her Master’s from the University of Surrey before earning herself a doctorate, PhD, from Brunel University in London.
Before assuming her current role, Tejumola rose from Head of Strategy and Insights in 2014 to General Manager Production in 2017, where she alongside her team re-birthed Big Brother Naija and produced AMVCA, Ajoche among others.
Tejumola drives the end to end development and execution of content strategy for Multichoice Nigeria including the Africa Magic and Akwaaba Group Channels.
Tejumola, was elected as a distinguished member of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (IATAS). This makes her the first female Nigerian on the academy’s list.
Tejumola has more than 18 years of experience in research, strategy and content development.
She is passionate about telling authentic and compelling stories that reflect the richness and diversity of Africa’s culture and people.
Tejumola is known for her outstanding work on some of the biggest film and television awards, as well as drama movies. They include the highly cultural African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA), Big Brother Naija, and new TV series like Masquerades of Aniedo, Chronicles, Refuge, and the highly talked-about Slum King.

As a senior female executive, Tejumola is extending the grace by taking the initiative to mentor other women in the organization through the MultiChoice Women’s Forum (MWF).
In 2024, Tejumola was listed among the 10th edition of the #LLA100 Most Inspiring Women in Nigeria; an annual tribute to groundbreaking women who have defied gender norms and pushed boundaries
across various sectors in Nigeria and in the diaspora.
