A staunch Loyalist of former President Muhammadu Buhari, Alhaji AbdulMajid Danbilki Kwamanda, has advised President Bola Tinubu not to allow anybody to hide under State Laws to violate the court order that stopped the reinstatement of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II.

Kwamanda, who is also the Chairman of Arewa Media Group, gave the advice while addressing newsmen at the NUJ press centre,Kano,on Monday.

According to him, what the State Government is doing as par the reinstatement of Sanusi is a violation of the Federal High Court order stopping the reinstallment and is “setting a bad precedence that will consume everybody someday.”

“We cannot understand why the people that benefitted from a court order to sustain their government, will now reject a substantive court order that stopped them from carrying out illegality.

“Their insistence that the reinstated Emir must stay and continue parading himself as the authentic Emir of Kano, has violated the rule of law and constitutes a threat to the nation’s Constitution and the general wellbeing of the people,” he said.

The Buhari loyalist, therefore, urged President Tinubu to, as a matter of urgency, wade into the issue so as to maintain peace and stability in the state.

“I am a politician, but honestly politics aside, there is great danger in what Kano State Government is doing, the court injunction must be respected to allow peace to reign.

“The President respects Law and order and should not allow this bad precedence to be set during his tenure. He should ensure that all stakeholders obey the law in the reinstatement saga,”Kwamanda added.

Kwamanda’s remarks came at a time Emir Sanusi has already commenced full royal business, chairing council meetings and receiving homage from district heads and title holders, among others.

Equally, the dethroned Emir Bayero is understood to be holding council meetings and receiving homage from his former district heads and other lieutenants.
