Speaker, House of Representatives, Tajuddeen Abbas has appointed Fa’izu Alfindiki as Senior Legislative Aide, SLA, on Political Matters.
Alfindiki is one of the staunch loyalists of former governor of Kano state and National Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
In a letter signed by Birma Shuaibu Maina, Secretary, Human Resources and Staff Development for Clerk of the National Assembly, the appointment was effected from January 3, 2024.
Alfindiki is a seasoned politician and unflinching member of the APC.
He was a Senior Special Assistant on Information when Mr Ganduje was the governor of Kano state.
He was also an Adviser on Public Affairs to Ganduje.
Alfindiki is the immediate past Chairman of Kano Municipal Local Government.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after presenting the appointment letter to Ganduje at his office on Tuesday, Alfindiki pledged to use his wealth of political experience in his new task.
According to him, he is happy to work with the Speaker, who within a year in office had performed well in the development of the country.
He also promised to contribute his quota towards supporting the Speaker and APC to achieve unprecedented feats under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
