A former governorship candidate in Anambra and CEO Tetrazzini Group, Dr Prince Don Okonkwo was in South Africa at the just concluded national and provincial election where he went to understudy their voting procedure and what Nigeria can learn from them.

He met with top leaders in the country, including opposition parliamentarian, Julius Malema who is the President of EFF and the party's candidate in the election.

Also at his meeting with Malema was a DRC top diplomat.

He applauded the electoral process but expressed worry that some persons could be disenfranchised as a result of the new procedure introduced by the electoral body.

He said new electoral registration procedures could prevent many persons from casting their ballots.

According to him, many voters who had not completed this process, mistakenly believing they could vote as before, a development that he said disenfranchise them.
