On Monday, security forces took swift action to disperse a group of protesters assembling in Karu, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory.

As the crowd gathered, authorities intervened aggressively, resulting in the arrest of three individuals.

One protester, Yahaya Abdullahi, described the situation, saying, “Our people were just starting to gather when the police and other security agents began firing tear gas at us. As of now, we know of three people who have been arrested.”
