MOP Star Football Acedemy has announced the unveiling of its football academy , which it says is aimed at nursing and grooming sports talents to achieve their full potential.
The football academy is a brand owned and managed by the award-winning non-profit organization, The Messengers of Peace (MOP) Foundation.
Dr. Sulaiman Adejoh, the National President, Messengers of Peace Foundation, who made this announcement on Friday in Abuja, said the academys part of soft diplomacy the foundation is adopting to promote peace in Nigeria. Reason for their slogan , SOCCER FOR PEACE.
The man at the helm of affairs, Dr. Adejoh is also the Convener of the prestigious National Peace Awards as well as the Secretary, Actors Guild of Nigerian AGN Patrons forum.
He has been at the forefront in advocating and building peace across the country, as well as amicable resolution of disputes.
A renowned advocate of good governance, Dr. Adejoh has through his foundation offered educational scholarships to many less privileged persons, offset medical bills of individuals and several other humanitarian gestures through his organization the messengers of peace.
The just unveiled football academy is seen as an opportunity to assist young Nigerians who are talented in sports but have no platform to hone their skills or move forward from where they are.
Situated in Abuja the nation's capital, the academy is open for admission for kids from the age of 3—19
The foundation also announced that suitably qualified coaches with outstanding track records, who have also played for the National team and have all the necessary coaching licenses have been recruited to mentor the kids of the academy.
Registration fee has been slashed tremendously only with affordable monthly fee while sporting kits, including IDcards , jersey, and socks too are available for all registered players
