President Bola Tinubu and his delegation arrived in Cape Town, South Africa, on Monday evening to participate in the 11th session of the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission (BNC).

The president was warmly received by South Africa’s Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Roland Lamola, and Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu.

During the BNC session, Tinubu will engage in discussions with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, addressing a range of critical topics, including political consultations, consular and migration issues, banking and finance, defence and security, manufacturing, social sector development, mines and energy, as well as trade and investment opportunities.

Established in 1999, the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission aims to foster stronger diplomatic ties, enhance economic cooperation, and solidify the longstanding friendship between the two nations.
