President Bola Tinubu on Friday hosted prominent leaders of the Tijanniya Sect to discuss matters of mutual interest and national development.

Sheikh Mouhamadoul Mahi Naiss, the leader of the sect, was accompanied by key members of the movement, including Sayyid Ibrahim Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, a revered Islamic scholar, and Abdulwaheed Suleiman, the Chief Imam of the State House Mosque.

The meeting, which aimed at strengthening the relationship between the government and religious groups, also saw the presence of several senior government officials. Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuff Tuggar, were among those in attendance, contributing to the discussions.
