The President of Women Mentorship Forum (WMF), Ebosetale Okhueleigbe has urged university students to uphold their dreams irrespective of the challenges of this life.

She spoke recently in her keynote address at the Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) Connect organised by the Lagos State University (LASU).

Okhueleigbe, an award-winning humanitarian, and strategic leader, charged the students to turn negativity around them into a positive outcome and define their lives how they want it and refuse to be influenced negatively.

"You cannot control how you started, but you can control how you finish. You won't wait for someone to rescue you, but you will build that bridge yourself. Truth is, no one can walk your path, nobody at all. Nobody is going to come to your rescue.

"It's between you and your dream, not even your mentor, not even your parents, not even your lecturers or guidance. Nobody will rescue you. You alone are the chief executive officer of your life, know that, have that at the back of your mind that you are responsible for yourself. If a dream dies today, you are responsible for it. No one else, therefore own your story. Run your ways, walk your path", she advised.

Okhueleigbe, the founder of P.S.L, also urged the students to always say words of positive affirmations to themselves and define their worth by themselves.

With a career that bridges tax auditing, technology, public service, and civic leadership, and also with advanced certifications from Harvard Business School and the London School of Business Administration, Okhueleigbe is reputed to have turned passion into purpose and purpose into real, measurable change.

ICE Connect is a platform related to the university's Department of Information and Communication Engineering. It provides resources, communication, and support for students and faculty within the department.

It is designed to facilitate communication, resource sharing, and community building for students and faculty.
