The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially zoned its 2027 presidential ticket to the South.
The decision was reached on Monday during the party’s NEC meeting held at its national secretariat in Abuja, where top leaders, governors, and stakeholders gathered to deliberate on key issues ahead of the next general elections.
The zoning move is expected to reshape the political landscape within the PDP, as southern heavyweights begin to position themselves for the ticket.
