The Chief Executive Officer of Jimez Petroleum Resources Ltd and a major player in Nigeria’s energy sector, Hon. Jim Okolo Chimezie has denied any judgement against him at the federal high Court Abuja or any other court in the country.

This is in response to an online publication alleging that the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has dismissed his fundamental rights suit against the Department of State Service.

In a statement on Friday, Hon. Okolo, the Founder and President of the Jim Mezie Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to youth empowerment, education and healthcare support noted that the online publication is the figment of the imagination of the authors, insisting that the court is yet to decide on his fundamental rights suits, which has Sir Emeka Okwuosa at the centre of it.

"The authors of falsehood and outright lies have again tried to smare my hard-earned reputation in their desperation to pull me down. There was never a time my case against Okwuosa and agents of the DSS was dismissed. The case is still before a court of competent jurisdiction and I am hopeful that at the end of the day, we will be exonerated", he noted.

He further urged members of the public to ignore the "evil machinations" against him as his rising profile in regional and global affairs have not gone well by those who feel intimidated.
