The chairman of the Nigeria Youth Organization (NYO), FCT chapter, Deji Mike Adebayo has been appointed the Deputy Managing Director in charge of Business Development of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) Investment and Property Development Company (IPDC).
His appointment is contained in a letter dated August 8, 2025 and signed by the Executive Chairman of AMAC, Hon. Christopher Zakka.
"We count on you to uphold a high sense of responsibility, dedication and commitment in the discharge of your duties", the letter reads in part.
Ayodeji, a strong advocate of the youths was the winner of "The Next President Show", a reality TV show in which 37 contestants competed for the youth president's seat, representing 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.
He ran for the City Center ward in the Abuja Municipal Area Council under the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in 2019,
His appointment as Deputy MD of IPDC of AMAC is seen as part of the chairman's drive to include young people people in the table of governance.
Ayodeji has since expressed gratitude to the chairman of AMAC for finding him worthy of the appointment, promising to justify the confidence reposed in him.
Before his appointment, he was the chairman of Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Area 2, Garki Abuja.
