A former presidential candidate and youth advocate, Prof. Chris Imumolen has congratulated a former Deputy Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Engr. Omobayo Marvelous Godwins on his appointment as the Director General of the International Institute of Experts on Political Economy and Administration (IIEPEA) Canada, saying it is a round peg in a round hole.
Prof. Imumolen said the new Director General is a thoroughbred professional who has demonstrated professional excellence as an engineer, rising to the highest membership category in the engineering profession as a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
In a congratulatory message on Monday, Prof. Imumolen further stated that the ascension of Engr. Godwins will inject a new vigour into the body in connection with achieving its core mandate of promoting knowledge, research, and professional development in the fields of political economy and administration.
"Your passion for new approach in tackling solving problems around our political and economic system has always been evident, and this new role is a true recognition of your commitment to excellence in administration.
"I have no doubt that under your leadership, the IIEPEA will reach new heights, fostering innovation, advancing scholarship, and empowering professionals in the field", he said.
The Institute's mandate also includes fostering a collaborative environment that brings together experts, scholars, practitioners, and policymakers from diverse backgrounds to share expertise, exchange ideas, and contribute to the development of innovative approaches in political economy and administration
