Prominent philanthropist and businessman Chief Bro. Felix Obuah and dynamic entrepreneur Mrs Andrew Ihwo Lois, CEO of Deeutensils & Deescent Global, are among the outstanding personalities set to be honoured at the 2025 Peace Achievers International Conference and Awards, organised by the Peace Ambassadors Agency.
The grand event, themed “Peace Building Through Sectoral Partnerships: Public and Private Sector Collaboration,” will take place on November 8, 2025, at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, by 5 p.m.
Celebrating its 15th anniversary edition, the prestigious award ceremony will feature the conferment of both the Honorary Award from American Management University, California, USA, and the revered Peace Icon Award, honouring individuals and organisations whose work has fostered peace, leadership, and national development.
According to Amb. Kingsley Amafibe, Project Director (Africa) of Peace Ambassadors Agency, the 2025 edition holds special significance as it commemorates 15 years of advancing peacebuilding, youth empowerment, and socio-economic growth across Nigeria and Africa.
> “The Peace Achievers Awards celebrate men and women who are true agents of change. Our honourees are carefully selected for their verifiable impact on society — regardless of tribe, religion, or political leaning. They are individuals making Nigeria and Africa proud,” Amafibe stated.
He also revealed that this year’s event will feature music, comedy, fashion exhibitions, and a host of exciting side attractions to make the celebration more colourful and memorable.
