Preparations are in top gear for the LASGIDI PRESTIGIOUS AWARD (LPA) 2025, an event dedicated to celebrating outstanding achievements and promoting the cultural heritage of Lagos State. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 23rd November 2025, at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, commencing at 4:00 p.m.
The LASGIDI PRESTIGIOUS AWARD seeks to recognise individuals, organisations, and institutions that have made exceptional contributions to the growth and development of Lagos State across various sectors — including business, governance, entertainment, community development, and culture.
According to Amb Kingsley Tolulope Agboola- Project Coordinator of the LASGIDI PRESTIGIOUS AWARD 2025, the initiative is more than a celebration of success; it is a platform that acknowledges the resilience, creativity, and excellence that define Lagos and its people. “The award is designed to spotlight Lagos’ finest — those whose work continues to shape the state’s narrative as a hub of innovation, culture, and opportunity,” the organiser stated. “We believe it is important to honour individuals and organisations that exemplify the Lagos spirit and inspire others to contribute positively to society.”
The 2025 edition, themed “Celebrating the Spirit of Excellence in Lagos,” will feature a red-carpet reception, cultural and musical performances, and the presentation of awards across several categories. The event is expected to attract government officials, business leaders, cultural icons, entertainers, and members of the diplomatic community.
