Suspected bandits on Saturday night attacked a private residence in Pindiga town, Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State, killing two people and abducting others.
The victims were identified as Prince Yusuf Derdoski and his pregnant sister, while two other siblings were taken away by the assailants during the attack.
The incident was disclosed by security analyst Bakatsine via his verified X handle on Sunday morning.
He said: “SAD NEWS: Last night, bandits attacked a private residence in Pindiga town, Akko LGA of Gombe State, killing Prince Yusuf Derdoski and his pregnant sister, and abducting two other siblings. The brutal incident has thrown the community into mourning.
“Given the recurring security breaches in parts of Gombe State, how are security agencies reassessing intelligence gathering and rapid response mechanisms to protect vulnerable communities like Pindiga?”
As of the time of filing this report, the police and government authorities had yet to issue any statement or formally brief the public on the development.
