Binash Home, an Abuja-based home and lifestyle brand, has celebrated its first year of operations with a charitable visit to the Halal Children’s Home Foundation in Life Camp, Abuja, donating essential items and spending time with the children at the facility.
The outreach formed part of activities to commemorate the company’s first anniversary and was led by the founder of Binash Home, Nafisa Aliyu. She was accompanied by her mother, Bilkisu Sherif, and three members of staff.
The Halal Children’s Home Foundation currently provides shelter for 35 children aged between two and 18.
On arrival, the Binash team was received by the matron of the home, Halima, who briefed the visitors on the foundation’s operations and its expansion beyond Life Camp.
She disclosed that the foundation also operates another home in Lugbe, Abuja, and has additional branches in other states of the federation.
Halima expressed gratitude for the visit and the items donated, describing the support as timely and impactful.
“Thank you from all of us at Halal Children’s Home Foundation, and may Allah bless Binash,” she said.
During the visit, the team toured the facility, which was described as clean, orderly and child-friendly.
The visitors also interacted with several of the children, including a 12-year-old boy who shared his aspiration to become a writer.
The boy revealed that he had already submitted some of his work for publication, a moment the visitors described as a reminder of the untapped potential that exists in every child when given care and encouragement.
As part of the outreach, Binash Home donated food items, duvet cores, waterproof mattress protectors and other daily essentials to support the children’s welfare.
The donations were presented as an expression of the brand’s commitment to comfort, care and dignity, particularly for vulnerable children.
Speaking on the initiative, Ms Aliyu said the anniversary provided an opportunity for the company to give back to society rather than engage in elaborate celebrations.
She explained that the brand is guided by a belief in extending comfort beyond private homes to communities and institutions most in need of support.
