The Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGrAM) has confirmed full readiness for its National Grassroots Mobilization Summit scheduled for December 16, 2025, in Abuja. The announcement was made today during a press briefing attended by senior officials of the movement and the media.

Speaking at the briefing, the Deputy National Chairman (South) and Chairman of the Summit, Hon. Dr. Agbi Stephen Omobamidele, said the gathering will serve as a national platform to strengthen community-level political engagement and consolidate support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Dr. Agbi stated that one of the major goals of the summit is to build a coordinated grassroots network capable of mobilizing 10 million direct votes for President Tinubu. He noted that CAGrAM’s 1.2 million registered members nationwide form a solid foundation for this target, adding that the summit will be a clear indicator of the strength of the President’s re-election bid.

He described the event as “a significant step toward organizing honest conversations, practical strategies, and a unified national structure that reflects the Renewed Hope Agenda.”

CAGrAM’s National Organizing Secretary, Hon. Tope Sanya, said the summit was timely, stressing that President Tinubu has demonstrated outstanding commitment to national development. He noted that the Renewed Hope Agenda has already produced visible improvements across several sectors, particularly the economy, making a strong case for a second term.

Also speaking, the National Director of Media, Patriot Olufowobi Olarewaju Desmond, said the coalition of Nigerians rallying behind the President is driven by conviction, not sentiment. He stated that although the country is experiencing economic challenges, these difficulties are temporary and the long-term benefits of the President’s reforms will soon become evident.

He added that the movement will not be deterred by “naysayers or political actors deliberately undermining national progress,” noting that the organization remains focused on mobilizing massive support for President Tinubu.

Hon. Olorunjun Felix Idowo, described the initiative as a welcome development, emphasizing the relevance of the movement’s “Project 1 for 10” strategy in galvanizing citizens toward building the Nigeria they desire.

The Deputy National Treasurer, Barr. Ahmad Isyaku, assured that northern Nigerians will deliver overwhelming votes for the President in 2027, saying the North remains firmly aligned with the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

In her remarks, the Deputy National Vice Chairman (Southwest), Alhaja Karimot Amope Akinpelu, pledged the full participation of women across the country. She affirmed that women will stand alongside men and the youth to mobilize massive support for President Tinubu’s second-term bid, adding that the movement has already activated grassroots structures in the Southwest.

With all logistics in place, CAGrAM says the December 16 summit will bring together community leaders, youth groups, women mobilizers, policymakers and political stakeholders for what it describes as a “national conversation on grassroots strength, unity, and forward planning.”

The movement expressed confidence that the summit will set the tone for a stronger and more coordinated grassroots engagement as the nation moves toward the 2027 elections.
