A seasoned professional with playing and coaching experience in Germany, Coach Ani brings immense technical credibility to the project. He has committed to integrating climate education directly into training, teaching players how environmental factors like extreme heat can impact athletic performance and health.
"Football is not separate from the world; it is affected by it," stated Coach Ani. "Rising temperatures and air quality directly influence a player's stamina, recovery, and mental sharpness. Through key stakeholders like player and climate advocate Obinna Okolie, the initiative is introducing Omega Ball—a dynamic, three-team football variant—to its agenda.
