Arise TV presenter, Rufai Oseni, has reacted to widespread social media claims that he was suspended from the station, insisting the reports are entirely false.
In a series of posts shared on X on Friday, Oseni clarified that he is currently on a scheduled leave, which the station had publicly announced weeks earlier. He described the rumours circulating about him as fabricated claims pushed across online platforms, noting that verifiable details confirming his leave had already been made available.
Oseni added that he intends to return to work once he completes his period of rest.
“I was not suspended. The lies and fabrications are terrible. Social media na wa,” he wrote.
In another post, he added, “I have worked for about a year and I decided to go on leave. After I rest small I go return. I love you all.”
He also reiterated that viewers were informed when his break began: “At the start of my leave on Thursday last two weeks , it was announced on TV I went on leave. Empirical facts Dey, so data bois that lied about suspension Una jam Zuma rock,” he tweeted.
