Cristiano Ronaldo reached yet another landmark in his extraordinary career, scoring twice to power Al Nassr to a commanding 4-0 victory over Al Hazm in the Saudi Arabia Pro League on Saturday.

The 41-year-old registered his 500th and 501st goals since turning 30, extending a record that further underlines his longevity at the top level.

The multiple Ballon d’Or and UEFA Champions League winner remains the only player in football history to surpass the 500-goal mark after his 30th birthday, having scored more in that period than he managed before turning 30 — 463 goals.

In addition to his 501 goals, Ronaldo has delivered 105 assists over the same span, taking his total goal contributions to 606 in 592 appearances.

All 501 strikes have come during spells with Real Madrid (162), Juventus (101), Manchester United (27) and Al Nassr (119). The tally also includes 91 goals for the Portugal national football team.

Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a precise arrowed effort into the far corner before adding his second in the 90th minute to complete the rout.

The result lifts Al Nassr back to the summit of the league table with 55 points from 22 matches, one point ahead of city rivals Al Hilal, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Al Ittihad.

Ronaldo’s career goal tally now stands at 964, as the former Real Madrid forward continues his relentless pursuit of the elusive 1,000-goal milestone.
