*A New Chapter for PDP Bayelsa State: The Hon. George Turnah Effect*
If we set sentiment aside and look at the facts, one thing stands out: PDP in Bayelsa is experiencing a visible shift.
Bayelsa has had several party chairmen over the years. But since *Hon. George Turnah MON* assumed office as State Chairman, the energy, visibility, and structure of the party have changed noticeably.
*What’s different?*
1. *Visibility & Relevance*: PDP Bayelsa is back in the public conversation. The party is no longer quiet or reactive. It’s present, organized, and setting the pace.
2. *Grassroots Engagement*: Across the LGAs, there’s renewed activity. Meetings are happening, structures are being strengthened, and members feel engaged again.
3. *Restoring Lost Ground*: The focus has been on rebuilding the party’s lost glory — reconnecting with the base, restoring discipline, and giving PDP a clear identity in the state.
This didn’t happen by accident. It reflects deliberate work by a chairman who has chosen to lead from the front. The results are there for anyone paying attention.
All this was achieved through a man who has vision, a man who saw potential in Hon. George Turnah, a man who believe everything can be achieved if the right steps are been taken, *Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezebuwu Wike*, FCT Minister, the political Leader of our great party PDP.
To Hon. George Turnah MON: the effort is visible, and the impact is being felt. For a party to move forward, it needs leadership that shows up and does the work. Bayelsa PDP is seeing that now.
We commend the work so far and look forward to seeing this momentum sustained.
