Nigerian fashion entrepreneur and business executive Ambassador Rotimi Ramalan has successfully concluded an 18-day strategic business tour across China focused on expanding international partnerships in fashion, textile manufacturing, industrial technology, and renewable energy collaboration.
The business visit, undertaken in August 2025 under his fashion brand RNR Global Emporium, is being regarded as a major step toward strengthening global relationships capable of supporting the future growth of Nigeria’s fashion and manufacturing industry.

Ambassador Ramalan arrived at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on August 9, 2025, before proceeding to Merlinhod Hotel, where he stayed during part of the international business tour.
During the visit, he explored several of China’s major textile and manufacturing hubs, meeting with leading fabric merchants, production experts, fashion accessory suppliers, and industrial technology manufacturers.
One of the major highlights of the trip was his visit to the renowned Changjiang Fabric Market, where he sourced premium materials including luxury shirt fabrics, 100 percent linen, wool, cashmere, and high-quality suit materials for future fashion productions.

Ambassador Ramalan also toured the famous Guangzhou International Textile City, where he interacted with several manufacturers and suppliers specializing in luxury fashion accessories such as Swarovski buttons, premium garment accessories, and embellishment materials.
According to him, the visit provided an important opportunity to establish direct international relationships capable of improving production quality and expanding global business opportunities for African fashion brands.
As part of the tour, Ambassador Ramalan travelled alongside the Forever Sole African distributor from Nigeria on a two-hour flight to Zhuji, where they visited the manufacturing facility of Forever electric monogram machines.
During the factory tour, the delegation was introduced to over 25 advanced industrial embroidery and monogram machines used in garment customization and mass production.

Discussions during the visit focused heavily on the importance of industrial collaboration between China and Nigeria, technology transfer, and the future of modern garment manufacturing within Africa.
The delegation also visited the famous Sijiqing Silk Market, where they explored the world of premium silk fabrics and discussed future partnership opportunities within the luxury textile sector.
Another significant aspect of the tour was a visit to a high-capacity production warehouse, where Ambassador Ramalan observed advanced automated production systems capable of producing thousands of garments within a short period.
He described the experience as an eye-opening exposure to the future of industrial fashion manufacturing and production efficiency.
Further expanding the scope of the visit, the Nigerian entrepreneur toured the popular Kinbo Fashion Accessories Market, where he examined various fashion accessories including decorative buttons, Swarovski stones, customized clothing labels, luxury brooches, branded hangers, and garment finishing materials.
In addition to fashion and textile engagements, Ambassador Ramalan also held strategic discussions with a Chinese solar manufacturing company concerning the production and installation of solar panels aimed at supporting factory operations and improving energy efficiency for his production facilities and showroom in Nigeria.
Speaking on the significance of the trip, Ambassador Ramalan emphasized the importance of global collaboration, innovation, and industrial partnerships in advancing the Nigerian fashion industry.
