TURNAH LEADS PDP DELEGATION TO CONDOLE WITH EGAIN OVER MOTHER’S DEMISE
The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bayelsa State, Hon. Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, has paid a condolence visit to former Chairman of Ogbia Local Government Area, High Chief Ebiango Egain, at his residence in Yenagoa following the passing of his beloved mother.
Hon. Turnah, who was accompanied by members of the State Working Committee (SWC) of the party, described the death of a mother as a painful and emotional loss, urging Egain and the entire family to take solace in the impactful life she lived and the worthy legacy she left behind.
The Bayelsa PDP Chairman prayed God to grant the family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, while also praying for the peaceful repose of the departed matriarch.
While noting that the deceased departed at a time her wise counsel and motherly guidance were still greatly needed, Hon. Turnah encouraged the family to draw strength in the fact that she lived a fulfilled life and is now resting peacefully with her Maker.
Responding, Ebiango Egain expressed deep appreciation to Hon. Turnah and members of the State Working Committee of the PDP for the visit, describing the gesture as a true demonstration of love, solidarity, and genuine friendship.
He thanked the Bayelsa PDP leader for standing with him and his family during the difficult moment, noting that the visit further reflects the spirit of unity and compassion being promoted under the leadership of Hon. Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON.
