
*WPRF: Global Alliance Hails Nigeria's Determination to Beat Record*
The President and CEO of Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, Prof. Justin Green has commended the giant strides being made by Nigeria towards hosting the biggest, brightest and boldest World Public Relations Forum (WPRF), scheduled to hold in Abuja, Nigeria, from 15th - 21st November, 2026.
Prof. Green, who spoke at the Nigeria House in Prague, Czech Republic during a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Embassy said he was deeply satisfied with unprecedented milestones recorded so far by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) towards hosting of the global event.
He noted that the confirmation of attendance by President Bola Tinubu and his Zambian counterpart, Hakainde Hichilema gives clear indication that Nigeria is fully prepared to give the world, the best.
He said, "We have got the United Nations, World Bank, Interpol and other reputable global organisations, involved. We are also reaching out to ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations). We are very conscious to make a global conference and to involve all continents. I don't think there's anyone that has achieved more and has more determination in achieving that than our fellow Board Member, Dr. Ike Neliaku", referring to NIPR President.
In his remarks, the Head of Mission for the Nigerian Embassy, Amb. Chimezie Ogu, who was decorated as WPRF Ambassador by Prof. Green said the Forum will afford Nigeria an opportunity to showcase its rich cultural heritage to the global community, assuring the embassy's support in different areas, including facilitation of visas for delegates.
Earlier, NIPR President, Dr. Ike Neliaku who is in Prague for Global Public Relations Conference and Global Alliance Annual General Meeting reiterated Nigeria's readiness to set a global benchmark for hosting of WPRF going forward.
"The entire Nigeria is ready, right from the President, His Excellency, President Bola Tinubu, GCFR, to his cabinet members. We are also delighted at the level of enthusiasm being expressed by private sectors in Nigeria towards the programme. This gathering coming to West Africa for the first time is an opportunity for business, great learning, adventure, networking and celebration of our country", he stated.
He stated that in addition to placing Nigeria on the global map of responsible communication, the one-week event will be of a significant value in raising the country's reputation capital as well as a window to attract foreign direct investment.
