Chief Reuben Wilson Appointed Special Adviser on Community Engagement and Rural Mobilisation for South-South by Renewed Hope Ambassadors


ABUJA – The Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), Senator Hope Uzodimma, has approved the appointment of Chief Reuben Clifford Wilson as Special Adviser to the Director-General on Community Engagement and Rural Mobilisation (South-South), with effect from June 1, 2026.


According to a letter signed by Senator Uzodimma, the appointment is in recognition of Chief Wilson’s demonstrated commitment, leadership capacity and dedication to the vision and objectives of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.


The appointment places the Bayelsa-born political leader in charge of providing strategic guidance on community engagement, grassroots mobilisation and stakeholder relations across the South-South geopolitical zone in support of the organisation’s programmes and objectives.


The letter stated that Chief Wilson would advise the Director-General on matters relating to community engagement and rural mobilisation within the region, monitor developments and emerging issues, and recommend appropriate policy and operational responses.


He is also expected to facilitate high-level stakeholder engagement and maintain liaison with community leaders, traditional institutions, civil society organisations and other relevant bodies, while supporting the development of programmes and initiatives aimed at enhancing grassroots participation and public support for the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.


Senator Uzodimma charged the new Special Adviser to discharge his responsibilities with integrity, diligence, professionalism and loyalty, while upholding the reputation and interests of the organisation.


The appointment letter conveyed the Director-General’s congratulations and best wishes to Chief Wilson as he assumes his new advisory role.


The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, an All Progressives Congress (APC)-aligned support group, is committed to promoting the ideals of the Renewed Hope Agenda through community engagement, mobilisation and advocacy across the country.
