Abuja, Nigeria – Fashion Fables Runway Africa (FFRA) has successfully concluded its official model audition for the 2026 edition, held on Sunday, 30th August 2026 at Jabi Lake Mall, Abuja.
The 2026 edition is themed “Rebirth Of The Ancestors: Reviving Africa’s True Story.” The theme celebrates African heritage, identity, and the role of fashion as a tool for storytelling, healing, and cultural preservation.
In keeping with the core values of FFRA, the audition was open to all. The platform welcomed models of all ages, from children to adults, in line with the brand’s commitment to inclusion, sustainability, recycling/up-cycling, and green initiatives.
FFRA continues to set the pace for purpose-driven fashion in Africa. In its debut edition last year, the platform made history by featuring the first autistic model to walk the runway in Africa. For the
2026 main event, FFRA will also spotlight a cancer survivor on the runway as a symbol of resilience, strength, and hope.
The grand finale of Fashion Fables Runway Africa 2026 will hold on Sunday, 18th October 2026 at The Blanc Grande Hotel, Central Area, Abuja. The event will bring together fashion stakeholders,
creatives, diplomats, and advocates of sustainable fashion from across Africa and beyond.
FFRA remains a fashion show open to everyone, proving that fashion is not just about style, but
about representation, impact, and telling Africa’s true story.
