Plateau-born clean energy and electric mobility company takes its African innovation vision to a global stage, strengthening international alliances for regenerative community development.
JOS, PLATEAU STATE, NIGERIA — October 19, 2026
Keter Africa Energy Ltd™, a clean energy and electric mobility company based in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, has taken its African innovation vision to the international stage through its participation in the Global Capital Network (GCN) conference held on October 15, 2026, in Marriott Renaissance Newport Beach, California.
Representing Keter Africa was Blaise Nwokocha, a member of its Board of Directors and Founder/CEO of RED Marketing Firm, who invests in promising innovations and entertainment ventures across the United States and Africa. He participated alongside Tom Sims, CEO of Wize Eco Inc., who was exhibiting his own energy invention. The two entrepreneurs are incubated in Green2Gold, and their companies share an interest in the potential of the Nigerian and wider African markets for practical energy innovations.
A GUIDING HAND WITH AN ENVIRONMENTAL LEGACY
An important figure in Keter Africa’s journey is Professor Alan Arthur Tratner, International Director of Green2Gold Incubator, who serves as the company’s coordinator and guide. Alan Tratner is an environmental pioneer who helped establish the first Earth Day in 1970 and participated in the first United Nations Conference on the Human Environment in Stockholm in 1972. His 5 decades of work in environmental education, renewable energy and entrepreneurship have helped innovators pursue practical solutions to environmental and economic challenges.
Keter Africa also maintains an alliance with The Super Crowd, the US-based organisation focused on equity crowdfunding and social-impact entrepreneurship, founded by Devin Thorpe. A bestselling author, Forbes contributor with over 500 bylines reaching more than two million readers, and host of the Your Mark on the World show featuring over 1,200 notable guests including Bill Gates, Thorpe has spent decades championing social good and helping nonprofits and entrepreneurs raise capital through crowdfunding. He has been a friend and strategic advisor to Keter Africa’s Founder/CEO, Prosper Ikechukwu Egeonu, for ten years.
Keter Africa Energy Ltd™ has signed letters of intent with Wize Eco Inc. in the United States and Nabta Lab Inc. in Uganda.
THREE CONNECTED AREAS OF INNOVATION
Founded by Egeonu, Keter Africa Energy is developing its business around three connected areas: clean energy and power systems; electric vehicle conversion, charging and battery-swapping infrastructure; and energy technology manufacturing.
Its electric mobility ambitions include supporting the transition from petrol-powered tricycles to electric alternatives, alongside the infrastructure needed to support their operation. Its longer-term manufacturing vision seeks to build local technical capacity and help Africa participate more actively in developing and producing energy technologies suited to local conditions and creating regenerative communities across Africa.
PROFIT FOR SOCIAL GOOD
At the heart of Keter Africa’s approach is the belief that commercial success and positive social impact can reinforce each other. Egeonu describes this philosophy as “Profit for Social Good.”
“Our vision is to connect clean energy, electric mobility and technology with real opportunities for our people. Jos, Plateau State and Nigeria deserve a seat at the global table of innovation. We want to build a business that will outlive us and succeed commercially while creating regenerative community impacts — helping build capabilities, clean energy and long-term value for our communities and the environment,” Egeonu said.
Keter Africa’s participation at the GNC California conference marks a milestone in its effort to connect a Nigerian-founded enterprise with international innovators and strategic collaborators. For Jos and Plateau State, the ambition is to demonstrate that locally rooted businesses can participate in global innovation. For Nigeria and Africa, it is to help build an energy transition that creates not only cleaner power and transportation, but skills, enterprise and lasting regenerative community impact.
