The family of Chief Charles O. Omenka, the Agbogidi of Ndoni Kingdom in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, has announced plans for his burial ceremony scheduled for Friday, November 27, 2026.

According to a burial invitation released by the family, the ceremony will take place at Umuagbidi in Ogbe Ukwu Quarters, Ndoni, with proceedings commencing at 10:00 a.m.

Chief Omenka, who was born on October 18, 1964, and passed away on August 9, 2026, is being remembered as a beloved father, husband, brother, uncle, community leader and stakeholder whose life made a lasting impression on those around him.

His death is seen as a significant loss to his family and the Ndoni community, where he was recognised by his traditional title as the Agbogidi of Ndoni Kingdom.

The family has extended an invitation to relatives, friends, associates, community leaders and well-wishers to join them in paying their last respects and celebrating the life and legacy of the departed chief.

The burial ceremony is expected to bring together members of the Ndoni community and other well-wishers to honour a man whose memory, according to the family, will remain cherished.

" A life well lived, a legacy that remains forever in our hearts," the family stated in the burial announcement.
