A renowned Philanthropist and Politician, High Chief, Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo, the Founder of Johnbosco Onunkwo Foundation and a vibrant Chieftain of All Progressive Congress in Anambra State, has marked his birthday with sober reflections on the recent state of the nation, with regards to the ongoing protests, hoodlums attacks and brutalities across Communities in Nigeria.

In his birthday remark, Chief Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo however expressed gratitude to God almighty, and lauded the impact of  God's grace upon his life, since Childhood and until today, his 45th Birthday. He therefore stated that prayers from friends, family members and well wishers would be a great birthday gift, especially with the postponement of the initially planned ceremony for his birthday and child dedication.

The grand preparation for the 45th birthday celebration of Chief Johnbosco and the dedication of his Son, Johnbosco Jnr. was cancelled in a broadcast statement released by the celebrant days ago. He cancelled the entire celebration, stressing that with innocent blood of young Nigerians flowing in the streets, incessant destruction of lives and properties, and the daily threats created by hoodlums, there was no need for any celebration.

He therefore noted that it was time to reflect and sympathise with those who where frontliners of the revolutionary vision, but ended up loosing their lives or properties in the entire saga. Chief Johnbosco expressed the firm pain he feels, as he encouraged youths with assurance that their voices are been heard already.

Still encouraging youths, he says "It is time to get off the streets so that miscreants will not jeopardise our good actions and intents.
It is time to harness our powers and ensure that as young people, through other meaningful approaches, we ensure that our rights and privileges are upheld in a united Nigeria".

Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo, the Akaekpuchionwa Umuchu, is the President of Good Governance Ambassadors of Nigeria-GOGAN Anambra State chapter. His Foundation has continue to support less privileged persons across communities in Nigeria and especially Anambra state. In his closing birthday remark, Engr. Johnbosco apologised for the inconveniences which the postponement of his 45th birthday celebration ceremony may  have caused, especially those who may have committed time and resources to make it quite colourful and memorable.
