Not minding the high cost of nomination and expression of interest forms announced by political parties for presidential aspirants, one of the leading showbiz entrepreneur in Abuja and the CEO Peace Ambassador Agency, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe has joined in the race to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in office as the country's President in 2023.

While PDP, the main opposition party has announced N40m for both the nomination and expression of interest forms for presidential aspirants, it is not clear at what cost APC will peg its forms including other parties.

Amb. Amafibe announced his intention to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday at a press briefing in Abuja.

He said time has come for young people to get it right in leadership, noting that the country has for long been starved of effective and quality leadership.

Amb. Amafibe said his success in the showbiz industry, his massive humanitarian outreaches and ability to connect with the people stand him out as a candidate to beat.

He also decried the level of insecurity, unemployment, poverty, hunger, and disease which have become the order of the day in the country, stating that he has solutions to these challenges and can restore the country in the path of success again.

He therefore urged young people to offer him their support, emphasising that he is poised to building a new Nigeria for all.

In 2015, he joined House of Assembly race for Ika North East Constituency of Delta State.

Baring last minute arrangements, he withdrew to support the incumbent Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa.

The signing of Not-too-young-to-run bill into law is seen as a booster in his presidential aspiration but the cost of forms for elective positions has been criticized by analysts to be on high side.

Amb. Amafibe's Peace Ambassador Agency is the organiser of Peace Achievers International Award and Northern Nigeria Peace Awards.

Also, with his other brands, Good Dreams Multi Media Concept and Big Dreams Reality TV show, the showbiz expert has carved a niche for himself by thrilling Abuja residents with social events to unwind not just at festive periods but all year round.

He is also the publisher of Alpha Plus Mega Magazine and organiser of Abuja All White Pool Party, an annual social gathering of fun seekers which also avails them opportunity to network and broker new business opportunities every December.

In recognition of his visible contributions in the industry, he was recently honoured as Doctor of Management and Entrepreneurship from the Institute of Management and Leadership USA in Partnership with American Heritage University Southern California.

Not long ago, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe was honoured with award of Social Impact Peace Ambassador of the year by University of Abuja along with First Lady of Kogi State, Rashida Yahaya Bello along with others.
