Mr Adeniyi Jose strangled his wife-of-eight years, Chidinma Gloria Ibeh, on Monday, August 8, in Suleja Niger state, and then tried to t@ke his life.
He was rushed to Suleja General Hospital where he d!ed.
The insider also said Mr Adeniyi Jose's suspicion that his wife was unfaithful had no basis.
"Gloria never cheated on her husband. People should stop saying what they don't know," the source told LIB.
They added that Mr Adeniyi has always been a j€alous husband and picked f1ghts with his wife whenever he saw her talking to any man.
The wife was reportedly the breadwinner as Adeniyi didn't have a job.
The couple left behind a son.
