Kenyan-born Messry Lung'atso is the Winner of the 3rd African Edition of the Beauty of Africa International Baip 2022. She set the record as the third winner of the annual prestigious African pageant held over the weekend at the Sheraton Hotel, Abuja, Nigeria. 

She see off competition from 10 delegates from various African countries to emerge as the grand queen. Other placed winners at the pageant competition includes, Ghana's Prisca Abah who was crowned 1st runner-up and Miss Nigeria, Okereke Juliana who placed second.

Hosted by veteran comedian Gordons and former Baip 2019 Winner and Miss International Nigeria Alice Duke, the event was filled with class and amazing performances from the contestants. 


Reacting to the success of the event and commending the delegates for taking part in the competition, the president Baip, Engr Daniel Opuene said, "We are proud to host yet another successful African pageant this year. As a reflection of our vision; we are committed towards promoting inclusiveness and delegates with the best attributes. 

"I must also commend all the delegates who travelled far and near to participate in the pageant this year. We've raised the bar high as a standard, transparent African pageant and will continue to move in this direction. Once again congratulations to the winners and looking forward to an amazing journey with them", he said.
