Nigerian forward Odion Ighalo was on show as Al-Hilal won the Saudi Kings Cup but missed a penalty in the clash.

The game ended 1-1 after normal and extra time with Al-Hilal triumphing 7-6 against Al Wehdaa on Friday night.

Al Wehdaa scored via Abdoul Karim Yoda’s strike just ten minutes before the break but Ali Al Bulahyi netted the equaliser deep into stoppage time.

With no team able to score after 120 minutes, the encounter headed for a penalty shootout.

Ighalo then missed his team’s second penalty. However, that did not stop Ramon Diaz’s charges from winning their second Saudi King’s Cup in three years.
