The Super Eagles were given a warm welcome at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja by the Federal Government.

After finishing second at the 2024 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote D’Ivoire, the squad flew into the nation’s capital on Monday night.

In an exciting final held on Sunday at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan, the Super Eagles fell short of the host country, 2-1.

John Enoh, the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), and other dignitaries attended the welcoming breakfast.

The 25-man squad of the Super Eagles included key players such as Alex Iwobi, Ahmed Musa, Victor Osimhen, Ola Aina, Frank Onyeka, Calvin Bassey, Ademola Lookman, Kenneth Omeruo, Joe Aribo and Williams Trost Ekong.
