Kano State Deputy Governor, Aminu Gwarzo, has expressed sadness over the tragic death of member of Kano State House of Assembly, Halilu Kundila.


Gwarzo, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Shuaibu, on Sunday, extended his condolences to the family and entire people of Shanono and Bagwai Local Government Areas.


According to the statement, late Kundila, a respected figure in Shanono and Bagwai LGAs, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday after a brief illness.


The Deputy Governor emphasized the tremendous contributions made by the late Lawmaker in the development of his constituents.


In his address to the grieving communities, the deputy governor said, “His passing is a great loss not only to his family and his constituencies alone but also to the entire state and nation at large. We pray Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus.”


Gwarzo urged the people of Shanono and Bagwai to remain united and offer support to one another as they mourn the loss of their beloved Lawmaker


Kundila, who passed away on Saturday after a brief illness, left behind wives and several children.
