The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) has accredited Nouvelle Perspective for the Saturday local government election taking place in the state.
This comes as the National Coordinator of Nouvelle Perspective, Amb. Jim Okolo Chimezie who is leading foreign observers, along with his team arrives Port Harcourt for the election.
This is the second time Nouvelle Perspective is embarking on election observation mission in the country this month alone.
Earlier, it participated in the by-election to fill in Senatorial, House of Representatives and State Assembly vacant positions.
Jim Okolo who addressed the press in Port Harcourt expressed satisfaction with the arrangement being put in place for a successful election.
He also commended the security forces for boosting the confidence of electorate with topnotch security presence, assuring that his team will be on ground to observe the process.
