The upcoming AfriCulture Fashion Show & Awards has received a major celebrity boost with the confirmation of former Big Brother Titans housemate, Blaq Boi, as part of the growing movement championing African culture, fashion, and the empowerment of the African boy child.

Blaq Boi’s involvement adds star power and youth appeal to AfriCulture’s mission of using fashion and cultural storytelling as tools for social impact. Known for his bold personality, creativity, and strong connection with young Africans across the continent, the reality TV star is expected to play a visible role in amplifying the message of identity, confidence, and purpose for the African boy child.

Speaking on the collaboration, Blaq Boi expressed enthusiasm about aligning with a platform that goes beyond glamour to address real societal needs.

“AfriCulture represents pride, culture, and purpose. I’m excited to be part of something that celebrates African creativity while inspiring young boys to believe in themselves and their future,” he said.

Welcoming him on board during a meeting in Jos on Sunday December 28, 2025, organiser of AfriCulture Fashion Show & Awards, Ambassador David AllGreen, described Blaq Boi’s inclusion as strategic and impactful.

“Blaq Boi embodies the confidence, resilience, and voice of today’s African youth,” Amb. David noted. “His presence will help us connect more deeply with young people and reinforce our message that the African boy child deserves opportunity, guidance, and visibility.”

The AfriCulture Fashion Show & Awards is a flagship pan-African cultural and advocacy platform that blends fashion, heritage, and honours to spotlight African excellence while promoting mentorship, identity, and empowerment for the African boy child. Through runway showcases, celebrity participation, awards, and cultural narratives, AfriCulture positions African fashion as a powerful force for pride, impact, and global relevance.

With Blaq Boi joining its growing list of cultural influencers and creatives, AfriCulture Fashion Show & Awards continues to build momentum as one of Africa’s most purpose-driven fashion and advocacy events.
