Former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Solomon Dalung, has described President Bola Tinubu as a “dwarf” in Nigeria’s political history.

Dalung made the remark during an appearance on Sunday Politics, a Channels Television programme.

He argued that Tinubu should not be compared with iconic Nigerian leaders such as the Sardauna of Sokoto and Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

“Tinubu is a dwarf in Nigeria’s political history and should not be measured against great leaders. True political figures leave legacies; they serve and work for the people,” Dalung said.

He added, “If Tinubu is indeed a great politician as some claim, we should see that greatness reflected in tangible actions.”
