The new Iranian Supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has revealed what he witnessed when he visited the body of his father, the late Ali Khamenei, after he was killed.

PlatinumPost reports that the late Ayattolah was bombed to death on the first day of the war involving the United States and Israel against Iran.

In a post shared on his X handle on Thursday, the new Iranian leader described the moment he saw his father’s body.

He wrote: “I was granted the honor of visiting the body of the Martyred Leader after his martyrdom. What I saw was a mountain of strength, and I was told that the fist of his uninjured hand was tightly clenched.”

Also speaking in an interview since the beginning of the war, Mojtaba Khamenei insisted that the Islamic Republic did not initiate the conflict, blaming the United States for starting it.

According to the new Supreme Leader, “We didn’t start this war. The United States did. We were at the table of negotiation but they left the negotiation table.

“And I think that this war is not between the United States and Iran. It is not an Israeli war against Iran. This is rather a war between President Donald Trump and Iran. It’s between the Prime Minister of Israel and Iran.

“Very soon, they will understand that they made a big mistake for attacking Iran.”
