Bayelsa PDP to Present Certificates of Return to Assembly Candidates
The Bayelsa State Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced plans to formally present Certificates of Return to candidates elected to contest seats in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly under the platform of the party.
According to a statement issued by the party, the event is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the PDP State Secretariat, located beside Timikon Gas Station, Okutukutu, along the Mbiama-Yenagoa Expressway in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The ceremony is expected to bring together party leaders, elected officials, stakeholders, and supporters from across the state as the PDP continues preparations ahead of the forthcoming legislative elections.
The State Working Committee described the presentation as an important milestone in the party's electoral process, noting that it reflects the successful conclusion of internal procedures leading to the emergence of the party's House of Assembly candidates.
The event is slated to commence at 12 noon and will provide an opportunity for party faithful to reaffirm their commitment to the PDP's vision for governance and development in Bayelsa State.
