Pastor Reuben C. Wilson Rallies Grassroots Support for Tinubu, Showcases Mobilisation Capacity Ahead of 2027
TVAFRICA24NEWS— As political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, prominent Niger Delta leader and South-South Leader of the P-BAT Door-to-Door Movement, Chief pastor Reuben Wilson, has intensified grassroots mobilisation in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, further demonstrating the political capacity that made him one of the region's notable campaign mobilisers in the 2023 presidential election.
Wilson, who is widely known across the Niger Delta as Pastor Reuben, has continued to lead community-based campaigns aimed at taking the message of the Tinubu administration directly to the people through the P-BAT Door-to-Door initiative. The campaign focuses on engaging residents at the grassroots, highlighting the administration's policies, achievements, and vision while encouraging broader public participation and support.
Political stakeholders says Wilson's latest mobilisation drive is a reflection of the organisational strength and grassroots network he has built over the years, describing him as one of the APC's most effective mobilisers in the South-South region.
During the 2023 general elections, Pastor Reuben who is the founder of pastor Reuben initiative for Good leadership and accountability played a significant role in galvanising support for the Tinubu/Shettima presidential ticket across parts of the Niger Delta through sustained consultations with community leaders, youth groups, women, political stakeholders, and grassroots supporters. His mobilisation efforts contributed to expanding the party's visibility and strengthening its structures at the ward and community levels.
Building on that experience, the South-South Leader of the P-BAT Door-to-Door Movement has now embarked on a renewed campaign designed to consolidate support for President Tinubu ahead of 2027. The initiative seeks to deepen engagement with ordinary Nigerians by taking political communication beyond rallies and into homes and communities.
Speaking during one of the mobilisation exercises, Pastor Reuben said lasting political success is built on consistent interaction with the people, stressing that grassroots engagement remains the foundation of democratic participation and sustainable development.
He noted that the objective of the campaign is to ensure that every household is adequately informed about the programmes, reforms, and developmental agenda of the Tinubu administration while encouraging citizens to remain active participants in the nation's democratic process.
