It was an evening of glitz and glamour, a celebration of friendship and reunion as Cynthia Ikenwe, CEO of Rintiz Group, marked her 50th birthday in grand style at the Admiralty Event Centre, Asokoro, Abuja.
The celebration attracted business leaders, senior military officers, politically exposed persons, entrepreneurs, entertainers, friends, family and well-wishers who gathered to honour the renowned fashion entrepreneur, career consultant and philanthropist.
Anchored by popular Abuja-based MC Chuks D General (MC of The Capital), the evening featured music, dancing, laughter and heartfelt tributes celebrating Ikenwe’s remarkable journey, resilience, generosity and impact.
For over 15 years, Ikenwe has built a respected name in the Nigerian fashion industry as a designer, illustrator, educator and entrepreneur. Through Rintiz Fashion Academy, she has trained and mentored aspiring fashion professionals, equipping them with practical skills for economic independence.
However, her 50th birthday marked more than a milestone; it heralded a new chapter in her professional journey. Having transitioned into the tech world, Ikenwe is now positioning herself as a Career Consultant and AI Educator, championing Career Intelligence for Nigerian students, young professionals and even senior citizens seeking to remain relevant in an evolving workplace.
Her vision is to help people understand themselves, develop relevant skills, embrace artificial intelligence and make informed career decisions. Through Career Intelligence, she hopes to contribute to addressing youth unemployment in Nigeria and across Africa by preparing the next generation for the rapidly changing world of work.
Speaking at the celebration, the elated celebrant described turning 50 as a testimony of God’s faithfulness.
“I am still very young at heart,” she said, expressing gratitude for the journey so far and excitement about the possibilities ahead.
